Dec. 18th gun show review

We had a great two days at the south Florida Gun and Knife sport show at the fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. We made a lot of new friends. It was good to see returning customers come back to have us do more work for them. We stayed busy both days weaving your custom orders. We made a few items for the first time and they came out realy cool. We took home some customers things to weave-up and mail it to them. Their was just not enough time to get it all done there.
For all those new customers you can place orders
at www.paracorddesigns.com We are shipping out as soon as we can because we know you want your paracord gear for gifts and such. Thanks again for all the great conversation and cool

550 Paracord Monkey Fist

"Monkey Fist"

We now have on our web page http://www.paracorddesigns.com/ a monkey fist with a steel bearing on the inside.

The specs of the monkey fist. the lenght of the lanyard portion is about 7 inches and the diameter of the steel fist portion is about 1 1/4 inches wide.

This Monkey fist makes for a very useful key chain. With the weight of the steel ball you can drop your keys in your pocket and leave the fist hand out. So when you need your keys just grab a hold of the fist and pull out your keys.

With the lenght of this designed monkey fist it allows you to reach out and touch someone if you have to in self-defense. This fist extends to about 14 inches in length because of the slip noose knot we use. This is a great item to have when you are walking through a dark area by yourself or with children that you need to protect. You can swing the steel ball around or if your keys are heavy enough, you can grab the steel ball and swing your keys. It is better to have options than not.

Order at

pictured above is four monkey fist with 7/8 inch solid steel bll bearing in OD Green, ACU camo, desert camo and bright orange.

king cobra vs. cobra survival bracelet

King Cobra vs. Cobra
weave pattern on the survival bracelet

I have had a few inquiries about the difference between the two patterns and sizes.
So i thought i would post a pic of the two side by side to give you an idea. They will have the plastic buckles that are slightly curved, the small bracelet will have a smaller buckle, we do not use the same size buckle.
The larger King Cobra allows you to carry alot more cord with you. They are definately practical for the times that you are going out for a hike, camping or some activity that you could need some line. For example a nine inch bracelet could have roughly ten feet of cord and a King Cobra would have over twenty feet.
Average Men sizes are 8 to 9 inches for wrist size
Average Women sizes are 7 to 8 inches for wrist size
Average Kids sizes are 6 to 7 inches for wrist size
Of course you need to measure your own wrist to verify the size.

Regular Cobra weave: $10.00
Large King Cobra weave: $15.00

Survival Bracelets "special request"

Here is a three color pattern that was requested for a group that they belonged to.

The two colors they needed were the purple and teal. We took they liberty to add
the black into the color scheme to give them some more options. We leave the decision up to you
but we want you to have options. Sometimes seeing them can help make that decision.

Let us know what your kids soccer, baseball, football or basketball team colors and we can work something up for to see to get the visual.

Traffic Leash, Dog Collar, Chest Leash

Heavy Duty Dog Equipment
These items were made for the working dogs out there.
If you have a tuff dog your going to need a tuff collar. The traffic leash was made to clip to a Duty belt or your belt loop, that way you have a short control leash that's not taking up a lot of room on your persons. The longer leash as well as the traffic leash has the handle woven into the snap ring at the other using once continuous piece of 550 mil-spec para cord. We feel that this design will eliminate the chance of the handle stitching coming apart, which is used on most common leashes. We have added a solid brass ring in the handle so you can wear the leash around your chest when not in use. The collar has a metal closure to add to it's strength. These items were made to one individuals needs and desires. We will be happy to come up with a different design or length to fit your needs. Every dog handler and dog is different in size and dimension, we love the fact that we can customize this equipment to fit you and your dog. You can buy a dog leash and collar just about anywhere, but to have one made specific to your size, height and job needs is another story.
